Listening to the audiobook of 'Where's Wally?' I still haven't heard him.

Chris Morris - new film - proper satire

Chris Morris made two of the greatest satirical TV series ever: The Day Today and Brass Eye, and also the suberb black humoured sketch series Jam.
The earliest of these appeared in 1994 but all of them still work surprisingly effectively.

He made The Day Today with Armando Iannucci, whose best known recent work is the political satirical series In The Thick of It, and last year’s spin-off film In the Loop.

No new Chris Morris work had appeared for several years as far as QNI is aware. And one might have suspected that he’d lost something along the way and/or Iannucci was the real talent of the two.

But it looks like he’s back with something good. He’s made a film about British Muslim terrorists. It’s causing the same kind of fuss as his series did back in the day.
